Badrinath Bansal (Varun Dhawan), son of a reputed money launder and not well educated, meets Vaidehi Trivedi (Alia Bhatt) , a middle family girl who was con by her boyfriend and a daughter who wants to be son and support of her father. Badri fall in love for Vaidehi and try everything to impress her. Once she agreed, he gets ready for his marriage but Vaidehi run away. Why she does this? Will she become badri ki dulhaniya? the answers to these questions is the plot of the movie.
Story is written very well in terms of the prequel “Humpty sharma ki dulhaniya”. Something original with lots of drama and too good twists. Varun and Alia have perfect chemistry. The support is very powerful by all characters. Music is awesome. title track to humsafar all songs directly touch the heart. Too good direction as well. Keeping the message with total entertainment is something very hard, but was achieved in this movie.
One more entertaining movie from Varun and Alia. Credit to director as well for not loosing the balance between his message of dowry system, woman independence and love story.
