Standard

Story line:

Vicky Chaddha (Esha Gupta), is a broker who converts Indian black money to white and has all the information of all the money, that has been stored outside India. The protagonist, Commando Karanveer Singh Dogra (Vidyut Jamwal), is sent with other corrupt police team to take her back to India. What are the challenges  Karanveer face and will he be able to bring her India is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

In the time of demonetization, the subject is hot and the movie is written too good. But performances are too over. Too much action, too much songs, too much PJS and unwanted drama makes the movie average in performance. This things changes in the end. So director is able to hide all the suspense and that is the plus point.

My view:

Throughout the movie my experience was how sequel can be such mess but end changed my thinking. Still if you are fan of action – drama, commando -2 offers it unlimited.

Rangoon Review

Story line:

It is world waar -2 time, Netaji has asked nation to join his Azad hind fauj. Julia (Kangana Ranaut) is a Bollywood actress who was send to the India-Burma border where she must entertain the English and Indian troops by her director / Fiance Kabir Khanna (Saif Ali Khan). On her way she met her bodyguard Nawab Malik (Sahid Kapoor) and fall in love. But she doesn’t know that she was used to carry treasure for Azad hind  fauj. What happens to her love story? what happens to the treasure? the answers of this question is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

A war story with woman independence and patriotism sounds good but its hard to make balance in them. But writer has tried to put weight in each three aspect. Performances are on average. Kangana has again proved her romantic and woman  oriented character. Saif and Sahid support it well. But other team support is lacking in the movie. Music is good to hear but it is breaking the movie continuity.

My view:

The first half is where you feels it love story but second half is neither love story not war story. The mixture of stories made it unbalanced and in the end it do not end well.

Story line:

A mysterious bomb blast in a business tycoon Paddy Sharma’s (Sharad Kelkar) factory prompts the state CM Ramandeep Braitch (Divya Dutta) to hire an NIA officer Arjun Mishra (Arshad Warsi). He meets an ex-army man Parabjeet Walia (Naseeruddin Shah) seeking revenge for his dead daughter and a journalist Maya Singh (Sagarika Ghatge)demanding justice for her slain boyfriend. How Arjun solve the mystery is plot of the movie.

Performances:

I have read a news on net that there is a train running for cancer patient. But to put it on a story and in such intense way is remarkable. Performances are really good. Every character’s expression speak the dialogues.  Credit to director for choosing such subject and delivering with such intense.

My view:

The movie is slow and full of pain. As it is reality based, the performances are living the characters and showing the pain of people going through the situation at this time. Though the movie has happy ending but reality is still painful.
