Arrival Review

Standard

Story line:

Louise Banks, (Amy Adams), a lecturer at a university, lives her life remembering her daughter, who dies during adolescence from cancer. But everything changed when twelve extraterrestrial spacecraft appear across the planet. U.S. Army Colonel Weber asks her to join a team, with physicist Ian Donnelly (Jeremy Renner), to decipher their language and find out why they have come to Earth. How they approach to them and learn their intention is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

Movie is based on the 1998 short story “Story of Your Life” by Ted Chiang.  As for the performance part, there is much for the expression then dialogues. Script writing is not that much support for the movie. As for the direction, the motive of the movie is not so solid.

My view:

The story is stretched too long. There are some moments when you feel excited but rest of the movie bores you to death.

  1. You really make it appear so easy with your presentation however I find this matter to
be really something that I believe I would never understand.
It sort of feels too complicated and extremely
broad for me. I am looking ahead to your subsequent put up, I’ll attempt to get the hang of it!
