Dangal Review

Standard

Story line:

Former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat (Aamir Khan) has only one dream that to win a gold medal for his country. Due to family pressure he was not able to pursue his career and has to take job. he thinks his son will complete his dream. And one he understand that boy or girl, gold is gold, he
trains his young daughters Geeta (Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita (Sanya Malhotra) to follow in his footsteps and become world-class grapplers. The struggle of gold medal & the struggle of relations is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

A real life sports story, too powerful. With Mr. perfectionist in it, too good performances. ou can start movie at any moment and you are bound to be sit till last scene. Not much songs but as per situation the are perfect match.

My view:

The punches between the characters is too pure and each scene is total gold to watch. After Bhag Milkha Bhag and Meri com, this is the best tribute to Indian sports persons.

Wajah Tum Ho Review

Story line:

Kabir Deshmukh (Shareman Joshi) – ACP mumbai police, Rahul Oberoi (Ranjeesh Duggal) – A TV channel owner, Siya (Sana Khan) – Rahul’s law adviser and Ranbir Bajaj (Gurmeet Chaudhary) – siya’s boy friend and public prosecutor, all their path cam across to each other after a live murder telecast on  Rahul’s channel. One by one his partners get killed and their live telecast is showed on Rahul’s channel. Why it is happening? Is he doing this or someone wants him i jail? The answers to the mystery is plot of the movie.

Performances:

Suspense is very good written and directed. Performances are good. But the power is in the punchlines. Music is mostly remake of old songs but good to hear. As the directors perspective, the suspense is hidden till end and it is big achievement.

My View:

Suspense with very well placed adult content makes movie watchable till end. I feel end is bit stretched and less horrified but everyone has their own expectations.

Befikre Review

Standard

Story line:

Dharam (ranveer shingh) shift to Paris to become stand up comedian and he meets Shyra, a tourist guide, born Indian brought up in Paris. They decide to live in relationship and not to fall in love. How they met, fall in love and their story ends is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

Live in relationship story based in Paris is the story. Acting performances are very less in the movie. But whatever is there, you will enjoy it. Music is very good. Every kind of track is there. As for direction, the movie has neither love story nor adult movie. They just can’t balance them. Both is over at its place.

My View:

For Ranbeer, you can surely enjoy his performance. As for vani, this is second movie where her body speaks more than her performance. But the beauty of Paris is not worthy of such low level of the love story.

Kahani 2 Review

Story line:

Vidya Sinha and her daughter Mini live peacefully in the sleepy town of Chandan Nagore. Vidya’s life revolves around Mini. Her life goes upside down when Mini is kidnapped and while trying to locate her daughter, Vidya met with an accident and goes into a coma. As Inspector Inderjeet investigates the hit-and-run case, he discovers that Vidya Sinha may not be all she appears. She has a dark past linking her to Durga Rani Singh – a wanted criminal on the run for kidnapping and murder. What is the truth of Vidya? Why Mini was Kidnaped? Who was Durga Rani singh? The answers to these questions are the plot of the movie.

Performances:

Story is based on child abuse in the society. The acting performances are good. Vidya and Naisha has done superb job. Arjun has not much power as Police role but he has done his part. Music is nice to hear.

My view:

Kahani 2, if you expect same level of suspense in the story to prequel then you will have disappointment.

Pete names the dragon “Elliot”. They grow together until Pete found Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard) and Natalie (Oona Laurence) in the forest. They took Pete with them and the humans know about Elliot. What will happen to Elliot is the plot of the movie.

My  View:

Story is know. but this one has happy ending. The first & last 20 minutes is very good but in-between movie is too slow to watch.

Dear Zindagi Review

Standard

Storyline:

Kaira is a promising cinematographer. Fatima, Jackie and Ganju are her three best friends. Her cheerful life becomes a nightmare when someone falls in love with her. She is running from relationships until he meets Dr. Jahangir Khan, a psychologist. She starts taking session and what follows up is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

Story is very simple and powerless. As for the performances, it looked like it was shot in the free time of SRK. As for the Alia, she played very good part of mental imbalance. There are lots of other small characters which tried to intense the movie but not able to lift it. Too much openness of parent and child is something that is avoidable. I only like the music part. Too good songs leading with “Love you Zindagi” & “go to hell dil”.

My View:

As far as it goes for me, I have left the theater after I get enough bored. Watch it at your own risk.
