Force 2 Review

Standard

Story line:

ACP Yashwardhan (John Abraham) gets a clue from his dead friend which leads him to his murder. He needs to work with Raw officer KK (Sonakshi sinha) to get him from Budapest, Hungary. They need to search from the raw agency workers who is him? While in sub sequence, they need to stop him killing other RAW agents too. Will they able to find him? Why is he doing so? and will they be able to bring him to justice? The answers too these questions is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

Super story. Super Direction. Super performances. Super action. Songs not much but they are ok. cinematography too good. Force 2 offers aggression, mind games and total action.

My view:

When ever I see Hollywood spy movies like MI series or 007, I think why we can’t make such movies. I got the answer, that there is equal or greater sense given to villain in them while the hero gets girls and courage. Force 2 offers for you same with Bollywood style.

Rock On 2 Review

Standard

Story line:

Aditya (Farhan Akhtar) again running from music as he feels whenever he has given music the highest priority, there were incidents which harm the magic. He lives in meghalaya after a tragedy. Joe (Arjun Rampal) & KD (Purab Kohli) are still in the music field. But time takes them back to the same place when they meet Jia (Shraddha Kapoor), the link to the tragedy. They have chance to settle what has happen and a social cause once again going back on stage. What is the tragedy from which Aditya is running and how they all overcome this is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

The story has power. It has similarities and dissimilarities to the prequel. The acting performances, the music and the finale all are same as prequel. They all rock the movie together. Shraddha Kapoor a female voice and the classic music instruments is the dissimilarities. The movie is also containing a social cause which made the movie to somewhat social level as compare to prequel. The direction not that good as first part.

My view:

First half is what I have expected Rock On 2 would be. But second half slow downs the movie. The songs are good to hear but they break the continuity of the plot and makes it week. In the end plot is not able to leave the effect it should.

In ancient Japan, Kubo (Art Parkinson) is a one-eyed young boy who lives with his ill mother, Sariatu (Charlize Theron), in a cave atop a mountain. Every day he tells stories to the local villagers by magically manipulating origami that moves under music played from Kubo’s shamisen. He tells the tale of a samurai warrior named Hanzo, who is Kubo’s missing father. When the town bell chimes signaling sunset, Kubo returns to his mother, as she explicitly warns him to not stay outside after dark or her Sisters (Rooney Mara) and his grandfather, the Moon King, will come to take his remaining eye. One day Kubo could ot reach home before sunset and her mother’s sister found him. Her mother gave her life saving him and send her to search his father’s Armer.

Now on the run, Kubo joins forces with Monkey and Beetle (Matthew McConaughey) to unlock a secret legacy. Armed with a magical instrument, Kubo must battle the Moon King (Ralph Fiennes) and her mothers sisters and monsters to save him self. Will kubo be able to save himself? Will he be able to solve the mystery? The answers to these questions is the plot of the movie.

My view:

As the movie starts, there is a voice saying if you want to blink, blink now. Because if you blink in the story, the hero will die. And you won’t blink though out the movie. The movie is all about adventure, love, mystery and magic. Too good script with very good animation support. Almost makes the movie alive.

In Medieval Scotland, Merida, a young princess of the clan Dunbroch, lives with her father, King Fergus, her mother, Queen Elinor, and three brothers. On her 16 th birthday, she discovers that to her dismay, she is to be betrothed to the son of one of her father’s allies. Is it going to solve Merida’s problem? How Merida fix this? Will her bond with her mother survive? the answers to these questions is plot of the movie.

My View:

Story is bit complected to explain but it has emotions, fun, bravery and magic with bit suspense and lots of drama. Total credit to the writer and co director Brenda Chapman. Performances are too good. Animation is too good and it almost take you in a place where you feel everything ancient.

Story line:

Shivaay is mountaineer in Himalaya. He lives with her daughter Gaura, who can’t speak. There life goes to unsettle when Gaura finds out her mother Olga is alive and lives in Bulgaria. She wants to meet her. So Shivaay and Gaura goes to Bulgaria to find Olga. But in between Gaura is kidnaped. Shivaay gets to know the child gone missing are generally goes to sell in other country in 72 hours. Will Shivaay be able to save Gaura? Will thy find Olga? The answers to these questions is the plot of the movie.

Performances:

A child trafficking story with bit father – daughter attachment is not having that much power in it. Nonstop action sequences. Beautiful cinematography. Lovely music. Ajay looks good in action sequences as well as lovable father. Erika Kaar (Olga) and Sayesha (anu) support well.

My View:

Movie is very stretched and that takes all the good things in to negative.
