Pink Review

Story line:

Three girls – Minal Arora (Taapsee Pannu), Falak Ali (Kirti Kulhari) and Andrea (Andrea Tariang) are staying together as tenants in a posh South Delhi locality and are normal working professionals in their respective fields. One night, after a rock concert they accept a dinner invitation from Rajveer (Angad Bedi), who is the nephew of a powerful politician from South Delhi, and two others to a resort in Surajkund, Faridabad district, Haryana.Rajveer gets close and and tries to molest Minal and her two roommates, despite they saying NO to them. Minal picks up a bottle and smashes it on Rajveer’s eye, leaving him bleeding. The consequences events of this action is the plot of the movie.

The script is very sensitive and very bold. Very few director will accept this challenge and put on such sensitive screen play on cinema. Performances are good. music is good. Direction is very good. Only one negative point is movie is two paced. The happy moments are very rare and goes in lighting moment while the sad part is very slow and very deeply directed.

My view:

I need to write the start of the movie because the event which happened is put in when the movie ends and most people might have missed it. If this is at start the movie might have some clarity. But the movie goes on assumption of what might have happened.
